Business policy enforcement is Miradore Online feature that allows administrators to automate the deployment of applications, files, certificates and configuration profiles. For example, passcode requirements and Wi-Fi configurations, can be automatically installed/enforced to specific devices.

This article shows how to create a business policy in Miradore Online. As an example we will create a business policy that enforces passcode requirements to all devices in the company's marketing and sales department. In addition, the business policy installs the Adobe Reader application.
1. Navigate to Management > Business policies where you can see the list of currently created business policies.
2. Click Add to open a wizard for defining business policy rules.
3. Define the group of devices, a scope, to which the business policy will be applied.
You can either choose to apply the business policy to all devices or use device tagging to restrict the scope to devices with specific tags. For example, you can create separate business policies for the company's head and branch offices when the devices or their assigned users have been tagged correctly.
You can configure multiple tags to one business policy. Note that all of the configured tags must be defined to a device or its user in order to include the device to the scope of the business policy.
When the scope has been configured press Next.
4. Select the configuration profiles for the business policy. The chosen configuration profiles are deployed to the devices.
In this following example we want to enforce passcode requirements for all platform (Android, iOS and Windows Phone) devices.
When configuration profiles have been selected press Next.
5. Select the applications for the business policy. The chosen applications are deployed to the devices.
In this following example we want install the Adobe Reader application.
When applications have been selected press Next.
6. Next you can select files (for Android devices) and certificates (for iOS devices)to be deployed with the business policy.
7. Define the name and description for the business policy.
8. Check that the business policy has been correctly configured. This wizard step shows an overview of the configuration and how many devices it will be applied.
To create business policy press Create.
9. When the business policy has been created successfully, you will see a confirmation about that.
Editing the existing business policy
After the business policy has been created you can monitor progression (i.e. configuration profile deployments and application deployments) and edit the configuration by opening the business policy page. There are few things to consider when editing the existing business policy.
1. Each time a device is connecting to Miradore Online server, it is checked if there are some business policies applying to the device. All changes made to the existing business policy are valid immediately.
2. Removing applications, configuration profiles, files or certificates from business policies doesn't remove them from the applicable devices.
3. Pay attention, especially, when editing tags of the business policy. Tags are defining the group of the devices the business policy is applied to. For example, when removing all the tags from the business policy, it is applied to all devices in the system.
